Desalination technologies, supplied and classified.
WH2O supplies the hardware for the main desalination technologies, ordered along the CDT, the Classification of Desalination Technologies of the PIM Group. Membrane processes keep water in the liquid phase; thermal processes work by evaporation and condensation. For each technology WH2O delivers the consumables and components that keep plants running.
Membrane (stable phase): Reverse Osmosis (RO). Thermal (phase transition): MED-TVC, MSF, MED, and the energy-flexible special case MSD.
Reverse Osmosis (RO)
Pressure-driven membrane process. WH2O supplies consumables: RO membranes, UF membranes, cartridge filters, mechanical components. Details
MED-TVC
Thermal, multi-effect with thermal vapour compression. WH2O supplies evaporator tubes in various stainless-steel alloys, diameters and wall thicknesses. Details
MSF
Thermal, multi-stage flash. WH2O supplies evaporator tubes (alloys, diameters, wall thicknesses). Details
MED
Thermal, multiple-effect distillation. WH2O supplies evaporator tubes. Details
MSD (special case)
The PIM Group energy-flexible multi-stage distillation. WH2O supplies the core desalination plant coupled to your energy source. Details
Independent assessment available. WH2O supplies the technology; when the question is whether, what or when to invest, DME assesses independently - deliberately separated from the supply role.
